Our Wedding

The majority of our special weekend will take place at La Chaux, at the characteristic house of Joeri's parents. This teeny-tiny village is part of Saint-Maurice-Près-Pionsat, a commune in the Auvergne area. It's only 2,5-3 hours south of Paris, but definitely different! Read: authentic rural France, with green hills, a lot of Romanesque churches and lakes. FridayOn Friday we'd like to welcome you for some welcome drinks and a dinner, in the front garden of the house. It starts at 5PM and we will communicate the departure time of the taxi at the hotel well in advance. Saturday On Saturday the ceremony begins in a church in Roche-d'Agoux and from there you will be escorted back to the house for the reception, dinner and party. It starts around 3PM and we will also communicate the departure time of the taxi at the hotel well in advance.

Our wedding weekend will take place in Saint-Maurice-près-Pionsat. This is a small commune in the Puy-de-Dôme department in Auvergne in central France. To travel to Saint-Maurice-près-Pionsat, there are a couple of options:🚗 Drive with car: this will take +/- 9.5 hours from Amsterdam (without stops)🚆+🚗 Take the Thalys train to Paris, rent a car there and drive +/- 4 hours🚆+🚆+🚗 Take the Thalys train to Paris, another train to Clermond-Ferrand, rent a car there and drive the last hour✈️ + 🚗 Fly to Paris / Bordeaux / Lyon, rent a car there and drive +/- 3-4 hours.
